As the house as such is not handicap accessible, it should be mentioned here that it is possible for wheelchair users to swim at Sydstranden in Kerteminde.
The house is extremely suitable for smaller conferences and company events, as there are several rooms in the property that can be used for group work, etc.
All in all, a very beautiful property where you can really enjoy the tranquility and there are also great opportunities for excursions and activities. Fyn. The large surrounding grounds are inviting for ball games, croquet and play. The tenant must accept that grass may be cut during the stay in the house, just as there must be access for repair and maintenance of the buildings. It is not accepted that tents are pitched or caravans are parked on the plot and the house may not be inhabited by more than the 10 people.
The area
Kerteminde with its charming, built-together houses offers some of the best beaches on Funen as well as many nice shops, cafés and restaurants. From the idyllic harbor the fishing boats still sail out onto the sea. Here you can buy fresh fish in the morning. There are also many exciting sights and attractions for kids and adults. Visit the Fjord & Bælt Centre with seals, crabs and underwater-tunnel or the Viking ship grave Ladbyskibet. Take on a boat trip on the fjord and visit the many exciting craftsmen and galleries in the area. The great attraction during summer is the cherry festival with a lot of specialties from Funen, music and a midnight song by the harbour.
