Bratten

North of Fre­de­riks­havn, you will find the holiday resort of Bratten. Here you will be close to green sur­ro­un­dings and wonderful beaches. You will be better off exploring the area on a bicycle or on foot to find the many hidden trails leading to idyllic natural resorts. Get up close and personal with nature, listen to the buzzing of insects and explore the beautiful flora. Near Bratten, you will find the port town of Strandby where you can see the charming harbour en­viron­ment unfold right in front of you. And with Fre­de­riks­havn just 10 km away, you also have great shopping op­portu­ni­ties, in­te­r­e­sting cultural at­tra­ctions and cosy eateries right at your fin­ger­tips.

In the most northerly part of Northern Jutland, you will find the cosy holiday town of Hulsig. You will quickly discover that Hulsig is sur­ro­un­ded by specta­cu­lar nature. Natural phenomena such as Råbjerg Mile – the largest shifting dune in the Nordic countries – and the luxuriant Skagen Klit­plan­ta­ge are just a short drive from the small holiday town. Kan­de­ste­der­ne

South of Skagen, you will find Kan­de­ste­der­ne, sur­ro­un­ded by tranqui­li­ty and pristine rugged nature. The area is known for its stunning dune landsca­pes and wide sandy beaches. This also makes Kan­de­ste­der­ne the perfect place for long walks and sun­bat­hing. Near Kan­de­ste­der­ne, you will find the im­pres­si­ve natural pheno­menon Råbjerg Mile, among the largest shifting dunes in Europe which is why it draws Danish and foreign ho­li­day­ma­kers alike. From Kan­de­ste­der­ne, you also have direct access to Skiveren Strand, a true paradise for kite surfers and nature ent­hu­si­asts. The wide beach is sur­ro­un­ded by dunes and has been awarded the Blue Flag cer­ti­fi­ca­tion.

Napstjert is known for the sur­ro­un­dings full of nature that you find in these parts of Northern Jutland. Here you can gambol in sur­ro­un­dings filled with wide sandy beaches, heather-covered moors and small woodlands. Espe­ci­al­ly in the moor- and woodlands, you may be lucky to see a deer, a hare or ex­pe­ri­en­ce the rich bird life that is on show here. So go hiking or jump on a bicycle to explore these special natural sur­ro­un­dings. Napstjert is located between Skagen and Fre­de­riks­havn. So you are within re­la­ti­ve­ly short distance of the well-known and pi­c­tu­resque sur­ro­un­dings of Skagen and the maritime history of Fre­de­riks­havn in the streets and alleys in the town.

The charming summer resort of Skagen is known for its famous painters among other things. A cultural legacy which the town residents are in­cre­di­bly proud of and cherish. The beaches of the town are perfect for sun­bat­hing and water play. The beaches feature white fine sand and clear water.
