Description
Location
On a large plot of land, 50 km north west of Ljungby, at the lake Unnen stand the four "Sjö" houses. All of them were built in the 18th century and were used by local farmers. In Unnaryd and Lidhult, both around 8 km from the house, you can find supermarkets, a post office and a bank.
Facilities
On this property time seems to be standing still. All of the four houses were renovated without changing the original interior. All the old floors, ceilings, fireplaces, windows and even most of the staircases and doors were maintained. Each house has their own garden furniture and grill as well as a rowing boat at the lake. Currently we can only offer you one of the four houses on the property.
House Sjö 2
This house has four bedrooms with a total of 8 beds. Three of the bedrooms are on the first floor, the fourth one is on the ground floor. The three upstairs bedrooms have a view of the lake. There is also a big living room with a fireplace, antique furniture and a great view over the lake. The kitchen has a cooker, a fridge and a microwave. In the bathroom you will find a toilet and a shower. There is also a nice veranda from which you can see the lake. At the lake there is a pontoon where you will find the boat that is included in the price of the house. To the right there is also a small bay with a sand beach which is great for going swimming.
Special arrangements
If you like the style and charm of times past then this is the right house for you. You can arrive any day of the week. Pets are allowed inside the house. Smoking is not permitted. Linen and towels cannot be provided so guests have to bring them themselves. The final cleaning is obligatory and costs 1,000 SEK. If you want to go fishing you have to buy a fishing permit. You can rent a canoe from the owners of the house.
