Description
This holiday house has an open-plan kitchen with a living room with a wood burning stove, two nice double bedrooms, a room with bunk beds and a bathroom with shower and washing machine. There are two wooden terraces, where you can enjoy the sun.
The garden is for the little children with a swing and a sandbox, but also with space for Danish “hygge” with a bonfire. Bring your bikes or hiking shoes along and explore the beautiful nature surrounding Hejlsminde Nor – a unique area with a diverse bird- and plant life or visit the national treasure “Skamlingsbanken”. Shopping can be done locally or in the town of Kolding which also has SlotssøBadet (a combined waterpark and swimming pool) and several museums as Koldinghus – the old castle in the center of Kolding, where the King Christian IV lived as a child – and the museum of art Trapholt.
The area
Hejlsminde is a nice holiday home area with a fine beach, beautiful nature and good fishing opportunities. You also find a swimming-pool, a cafeteria and a restaurant in Hejlsminde. The historic towns of Christiansfeld, Haderslev and Kolding are within short distance from Hejlsminde. In Kolding, 15 km north of Hejlsminde, there are good shopping facilities in the pedestrian street and in the shopping mall as well as a large aqua park with wellness center
