Location
Between Blekinge and Småland, around 15 km south east of Tingsryd, lies the house Ernstgården together with the house of the owner on a large piece of land. Part of the property is its very own beach and access to the lake Tjurken. Here you will be able to find a pontoon and a boat. The small beach is perfect for bathing and the lake is good for fishing. You can find grocery stores in Konga around 6 km from the house, mail service as well as cash machines you will find in Tingsryd.
Facilities
The nicely renovated, former farm house was built in 1849 and has 120 square metres. When you enter the house you step into a modern kitchen and dining-room with a sofa that can be turned into a double bed. In the kitchen you will find a cooker, a fridge with a freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, and a kettle. There is a sofa, a fireplace and sattelite TV with only German channels in the living-room. A staircase leads from the living-room to the top floor where you will find the bedrooms. There is one bedroom with a double bed, the other two bedrooms contain a single bed each. Additionally, you will find a high chair and a baby crib. A shower, bathtub, shower and washing machine can be found in the bathroom on the ground floor. At the back of the house is a porch with garden furniture and a barbecue. Guests can use the rowing boat that is lying at the beach 600 m from the house. You can also rent 4 adult bicycles and 3 children's bicycles.
Special arrangements
A beautifully renovated holiday home with tasteful furniture in a great location on a former farm where the owners keep two horses and a few sheep. The ceiling on the first floor is only between 1,70 - 1,90 metres high. You can only book whole weeks, with Saturday being both the arrival and departure day. Please do not smoke inside the house. Pets are not allowed. Linen and towels are included in the rental price and will be changed every two weeks. The final cleaning is obligatory and costs 90 EUR. Electricity costs 2,50 SEK per kWh, and will be paid at the end of your stay based on how much electricity you used. You do not need a fishing license because the property owner has one. Guests can access Wifi provided by a 100/10 Mbit fibre cable for no additional cost. Upon request, it might be possible to do horseback riding.
