Location
Only 16 km away from the beautiful town of Vadstena, directly at the lake Vättern, lies our house Dalhem. Hidden away behind nicely trimmed hedges at the end of a nice front yard with an avenue made up out of fruit trees lies this charming holiday house. Behind the house is a large garden from which you have a nice view over the lake. At the end of the garden is a gate which provides access to a small sand beach. A larger sandy beach is only 300 metres away from the house. There is a small local shop where you can buy a few groceries only 1,5 km away from the house. Around 1 km from the house you will find the restaurant Gyllenhammars. Supermarkets and cash machines can be found in Vadstena.
Facilities
House Dalhem was built in 1920 and has 135 square metres. Through a narrow hallway you reach the kitchen with cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, coffee machine and dish washer. The living room and the dining room are separated by large sliding doors which you can leave open or close. In the living room you will find a comfortable sofa, a fireplace and a door that provides access to the large veranda from which you can see the lake. There is an additional small living room turned into bedroom with a sofa bed that offers enough space for two people to sleep on. On the first floor are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, the other bedroom is furnished with two bunk beds. Here you will also find the bathroom with a shower, a toilet, a washing machine and a dryer.
Special arrangements
A great holiday home with a lot of light and directly at the lake Vättern. Throughout A, B and C season arrival and departure day is Saturday. During D season you can arrive any day of the week. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is not permitted. With your second payment you will pay a bond of 150 EUR which will be returned to you after we have deducted your electricity costs. Electricity costs 2,50 SEK per kWh. Linen and towels can be borrowed for 100 SEK per person. The final cleaning is obligatory and costs 1,000 SEK. You are also able to rent two motor boats or a sailing boat from the owners of the house. Motor boat Bella with a 40 HS motor costs 3,000 SEK per week. Motor boat Linder, with a 6 HS motor, as well as the small sailing boat Linder both costs 1,000 SEK per week each.
