Description
Nice log house located on a sloping plot surrounded by beautiful nature in Lundby Bakker only 10 km southeast of Ålborg. A part of the house was built in 2014 (bathroom and the large bedroom) and other parts have been partly renovated in 2014. The house includes a cosy living room with wooden floors, wood-burning stove, sofabed, dining section and access to the terrace. Bathroom with shower, washing machine and tiled floors with underfloor-heating. Large bedroom with double bed as well as 2 bedrooms with 2 bunk beds in each.
The area
During the first half of the 20th century, Lundby Bakker consisted mainly of heath areas. Today there are many woods in the area. Lundby Bakker is very hilly, and there are many narrow and deep canyons. The highest places are Alsbjerg and Risbjerg which are 73 and 83 metres high respectively. From here there is a view across Himmerland. Since the 19th century Lundby Bakker has been a destination for trips. Today, there are many activities such as role play, mountainbiking and the annual run ”Lundbyløbet”. Due to the location close to Aalborg, the area is a popular destination for short trips. There are marked paths of 2, 4 and 6 km.
