The area
Ertebølle is located near Farsø surrounded by beautiful nature with lots of history. The nature in Ertebølle is unique with 35 million years old cliffs with ash deposits of vulcanic eruptions during the Ice Age. Here you can also search for fossils. The beach in the area has a bathing jetty and clear and deep water which makes Ertebølle a perfect destination for divers. One of the large attractions in the area is Ertebølle Stone Age Centre. Rønbjerg Feriecenter with a large aquapark is only 8 km away from the area. The region is a paradise for golfing as there are 5 golf courses within 30 km reach. From Rønbjerg you can also take the ferry to the car-free island Livø with an outstanding nature.
