Description
Location
On a 2.5 hectare large piece of land, 30 km south west of Karlstad, lies this former farmhouse. The lake Vänern is only 500 metres away. Supermarkets, a restaurant, banks and a post office are available in Grums, 5 km away. The lake Vänern ist the biggest lake in Western Europe and it is connected to both the North Sea and the Baltic Sea through the Göta Canal.
Facilities
The two storey building offers its guests 134 square metres. In the living room guests will find a sofa, armchairs and a fireplace. The kitchen of the house is equipped with cooker, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and a dishwasher. In the bathroom guests will find a shower and a toilet. On the first floor there is also a room with a desk with a sofa bed for two people. On the first floor there are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, the other one with a bed that can be extended so that it can be used for two people. Between the two bedrooms is a hallway with a TV and a sofa bed for one person. The house has central heating. Guests also have access to a washing machine in the cellar of the house. For the garden there is garden furniture and a grill. A rowing boat is also included in the price of the house. For small children there is a sandbox in the garden. The large grassy areas around the house are great for children to play on.
Special arrangements
A comfortable holiday home with a lot of space and very close to the lake Vänern. You can arrive and depart on any day of the week. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is not permitted. Linen and towels cannot be provided. Guests have to do the final cleaning of the house themselves, this service cannot be ordered. If the house is not properly cleaned the owner can ask for a compensation of 1,500 SEK. If you want to go fishing you need a fishing permit.
