The house is situated in Ore Strand in Vordingborg in southern Zealand. There is easy access to excursions throughout eastern Denmark, including trips to Copenhagen. In Vordingborg Zealand Museum is a "must" Good shopping opportunities are available in the center of Vordingborg - about 5 km from the house. In 2018-2022 a new Storstrømsbro will be built in the waters around Vordingborg and Ore.
