At Avnø you have the most beautiful nature with a rich birdlife and wildlife - even with the opportunity to see seals.
The holiday home is close to Vordingborg - South Zealand's trading town - with the Danish City Museum, bowling and gym, a nice swimming pool and a large selection of shops and eateries. There are good live music venues, and in July the well-attended "Vordingborg Festuge" will be held. On the outskirts of Vordingborg, Masnedø is the fort, the center of modern art, with the largest free exhibition in the region.
Only 15 km. from Vordingborg you will find the Avnø Nature Center, which is a protected natural pearl with a very special wildlife. From Vordingborg there are nice excursions for both Møn, Copenhagen or Lolland and Falster
