At the ground floor there are a kitchen, door to the beautiful garden with many trees, a large dining room and 3 nice rooms -each with 2 sleeping places. On the property's 1st floor, there is a there a nice large living room and another bathroom with shower. From the 2 balconies there is the most beautiful view to the South Funen Archipelago. Right next to the main house is a lovely annex building with 2 more good sleeping accommodations. In Dyreborg there is also a small fishing port. All in all, this property is the perfect starting point for a wonderful holiday in southern Funen just approx. 7 km from the port city of Faaborg, where there are really good shopping. Knold beach is approx. 1,5 km from the house. Bicycles can be rented by yhe "Provianten"
The area
The idyllic harbour town Fåborg is not far away from the area with nice shops, cultural sights, restaurants and an indoor swimming-pool. South Funen is known for its very special and hilly nature with Svanninge Bakker, the so-called Funish Alps, and the beautiful and unique archipelago. Take a day trip to the islands of Lyø, Avernakø or Ærø. The ferry leaves daily from the harbor in Faaborg. Egeskov Castle, which is one of Funen´s largest attractions, is also worth a visit as well as Odense, Funen´s largest town, with many sights and attractions.
