Description
Nice holiday home for 8 people situated on a plot with several cozy terraces. From one of these, there are seaview. The cottage is thatched and has also an annex with its own bathroom and two beds. In the garden there is a playhouse and sandbox for the children. The house includes a living room with access to the terrace and garden. From the living room there is also access to the kitchen with dishwasher. There is a bathroom with spa bath. A bedroom with double bed. A large loft with plenty of room is furnished with two beds and a sofa bed.
The area
The idyllic harbour town Fåborg is not far away from the area with nice shops, cultural sights, restaurants and an indoor swimming-pool. South Funen is known for its very special and hilly nature with Svanninge Bakker, the so-called Funish Alps, and the beautiful and unique archipelago. Take a day trip to the islands of Lyø, Avernakø or Ærø. The ferry leaves daily from the harbour in Faaborg. Egeskov Castle, which is one of Funen´s largest attractions, is also worth a visit as well as Odense, Funen´s largest town, with many sights and attractions.
