This really cozy holiday home is in the popular holiday homes area Horne Sommerland with a good beach and with just approx. 2 km to the nearest shopping and approx. 11 km to the center of the port city of Faaborg. There are fine shopping opportunities and several restaurants.
The house has a small hall, a large bedroom with 1 double bed, a good bathroom with shower and 2 good living rooms with wood stove, and a kitchen. From the house as well as the beautiful terrace and garden there is a beautiful panoramic view to the South Funen Archipelago with Lyø as the nearest island.
The house is the perfect starting point for activities and excursions in the southern Funen area or perhaps a trip by ferry from Bøjden to Fynshav and on to Germany.
The area
Horne Sommerland is a minor holiday home area which is only 7 km away from Fåborg. South Funen is known for its very special and hilly nature with Svanninge Bakker, the so-called Funish Alps, and the beautiful and unique archipelago. The idyllical harbour town Fåborg is only 10 minutes away by car with nice shops, cultural sights, restaurants and an indoor swimming-pool. South Funen has a lot to offer. Take a day trip to the islands of Lyø, Avernakø or Ærø. The ferry leaves daily from the harbour in Faaborg. Egeskov Castle, which is one of Funen´s largest attractions, is also worth a visit as well as Odense, Funen´s largest town, which is only 30 minutes away by car from the area.
