In this house you can enjoy your holiday in stunning surroundings with possibility for bathing and relaxation in a scenic and quiet area.
Interior
The house is on two floors and the ground floor contains a lovely spacious reception room with open-plan kitchen. From this room there is access to a large wooden terrace where you can enjoy the sun and your grilled supper while the deer are crossing the garden. Here you find a garden table with chairs as well as a lounge setting to relax. The ground floor also contains a nice bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with shower. The wide step ladder to the first floor is not suited for walking-impaired, but there is a normal staircase on the outside. The first floor with double-height ceiling sleeps four, with two single beds in the TV-lounge and a double bed in the opposite end. From this room you have access to a cosy terrace with morning sun where you can enjoy your coffee while listening to the roar of the sea. There are no doors between the rooms on the first floor.
Location / the area
The house is located in the beautiful Geopark Odsherred, with ample opportunities for walks and bicycle trips in a scenic and intriguing area. From the house there are only 350m to a lovely stony beach and 450m to a bathing jetty. In the village Havnebyen you can buy ice cream, fresh fish and other specialities or you can visit one of the good restaurants. The area is well-filled with local farm shops and two vineyards with high quality wines. You can also visit Kastanielys, a life-style shop with handicraft and candle-making.
Or you can take the ferry to Århus on a day trip. There is good grocery shopping in Havnebyen or the supermarket Rema 1000 very close to the house. The amusement park Sommerland Sjælland is just 28km away, and the children will love to spend an entire day there with fun rides and family time. If you want to visit Copenhagen, it is only a 75min. drive. This is certainly an area that will give you an unforgettable holiday.
