Interior
The house contains a cosy reception room with sofa setting in front of the wood burner and with a view of the nature plot with the beautiful heather where the deer are crossing regularly. In the spacious dining room there is a sofa bed sleeping 2 as well as ample floor space for the children to play on and an open kitchen with dishwasher. The house also contains 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with 2 single beds as well as chest of drawers and storage space. Bathroom with shower. The roof construction and roof windows offer fantastic lights. On the huge wooden terrace with access from the reception room you can spend the entire day enjoying your holiday with barbecuing, sunbathing or reading a good book.
Location / the area
The house is located in the middle of the fascinating Geopark Odsherred with countless possibilities for walking and bicycle trips in flat as well as hilly landscapes. The child-friendly sandy beach is only 5 minutes by foot from the house. There are many activities in the vicinity such as the amusement park Sommerland Sjælland for the entire family, angling, golf, visit to the market town Nykøbing Sjælland with good shopping, playgrounds and good restaurants, fresh fish at Odden harbour or crab fishing at Rørvig harbour and maybe dinner in one of the good fish restaurants there. At Dragsholm Castle you can enjoy a fantastic view and taste local produce in one of the three eating places there. Only 150m from the house you find the eating place Haveje with probably the best burgers in the world. If you want to visit big cities, Copenhagen is only 1 hour’s drive away, and you can reach Aarhus in less than 2 hours by car and ferry.
