This great holiday house is located in an extremely attractive area in Rørvig, only 8 min. from the harbour with the cosy maritime atmosphere and very close to the fantastic sandy beaches. Here you have every opportunity to enjoy life and take part in the many events, the area has to offer.
Interior
The house contains a lovely lounge, where you can lose yourself in a good book or enjoy a good coffee. You have the possibility for streaming and Playstation via Smart TV. In connection with the lounge there is a wonderful kitchen, equipped with all modern conveniences such as the cooker hood built into the hotplate. The kitchen is spacious enough, so that all of you can help each other prepare a delicious lunch. There are 4 good bedrooms with ample storage and a big loft bed, not to mention the two beautiful bathrooms with shower. From the lounge you can access the huge and lovely terrace, divided into several sections; from here you may spot a squirrel or a deer crossing regularly, or you can simply enjoy the sun from early till late, while the children are playing in the garden. The garden and the terrace are under completion and will be ready for the season. Everything in the house stands light and very inviting, with the highest quality of materials being used everywhere. Youth groups are not welcome.
Location / the area
The holiday house is located in quiet surroundings only 5 min. from perfect sandy beach. The area is a part of the beautiful Geopark Odsherred, Denmark’s first UNESCO Geopark. Here you find an abundance of exciting sights and fantastic adventure-routes in the unique landscape. Like a walk to Skansehage or around the idyllic Dybesø Lake. At the harbour in Rørvig, the children can fish crabs, while you shop for fresh fish, and you can take the small cosy ferry to Hundested. Rørvig offers many really good restaurants, and during summer, the popular flea market takes place every Sunday morning. In Nykøbing Sjælland there is excellent shopping with several independent shops selling local produce and art works. Hempel Glass Museum at Anneberg with the workshop GlasSpiren for the children or Odsherred Museum with the history of the region are certainly also worth a visit. The children will love a day at the amusement park Sommerland Sjælland which has been elected Denmark’s best activity for children. You can also visit the finding place for the Sun Chariot with the beautiful gates and the intriguing history. All in all a fantastic area that will fascinate you.
