In many ways, Filsø Hotel is ideal for several generations or a large group of travellers who would like to spend the night under one roof. In addition to the space, setting and facilities of the cosy hotel itself, Filsø Hotel is located in an area that has many opportunities for a group seeking experiences together. By way of example, this could be across generations when older family members want to meet up with children and grandchildren. Or maybe when a group of friends meet to reminisce about the good old days – while also enjoying outings and experiences together.
Ten elegant and inviting double rooms
When viewed from the outside, Filsø Hotel exudes a cosy style that is also felt inside e.g. in the ten elegant, bright and friendly double rooms - with either with double beds or two single beds. It is also possible to book up to six extra beds (free of charge). Please let us know when booking and the hotel will make sure the extra beds are ready.
Each room has its own bathroom, mini espresso machine (for coffee/tea), flat-screen TV with channels, hairdryer, free wireless internet, mini bar/fridge and wardrobe.
Please note that all the rooms are on first floor.
If you are travelling as a large group the hotel has a large dining room with seating for up to 60 people, two large lounges/conference rooms and two smaller lounges/conference rooms, one of which is furnished as a cosy TV-room with a SmartTv (please note that this TV has no channels).
There is also a small kitchen that can cater for up to 26 people. The kitchen is equipped with both an industrial dishwasher and an industrial coffee machine and, a service room next to the kitchen where it is possible to cook/prepare sides.
Local experiences
Filsø Hotel has an activity room with a pool table, table tennis, darts and different types of board games, and the hotel is located next door to a bowling centre where the party or family members can challenge each other.

The area
Tønder is a cosy city with lots of old, charming houses - and opportunities for the modern consumer. Moreover, Tønder is located in the southwestern part of South Jutland in an area that has plenty of beautiful scenery, including e.g. trips to the North Sea or the South Jutland marshes. You can also visit the village Møgeltønder and see the Schackenborg Castle and the park surrounding the castle. At the same time, the border is not far away and, thus, it is also possible to enjoy experiences in northern Germany.
