Description
This lovely holiday house is located in the centre of Klint, only 600m from the coast. The huge plot can be used for ball games and relaxation. Here you have a bonfire setting and lots of sun.
Interior
The house contains a big hallway with lots of storage. The modern kitchen is open and functional with a dishwasher, a micro wave and induction hotplates. From the dining section you have a view of the garden, where the deer are crossing regularly, and where there is ample space to play. There is good comfort in the living room with the sofa corner and a big TV with ambi-light, providing a great TV experience. There are 5 good bedrooms with respectively 3 double beds 180x200cm and 4 single beds as well as ample storage. The elegant bathroom is with shower.
Location / the area
The house is located in a scenic area of natural beauty, Klintebjerg, with steep paths, fantastic panorama views and lots of fresh sea air and hundreds of cairns, giving the area a very special expression. At the small harbour in Klint you can bathe as well as angle. There are only 800m to the beach, where a bathing jetty brings you across the stones and on to the lovely sand. The house is within walking distance to the former limestone quarry in Klint as well as to Restaurant ”Det Vilde Køkken”, which is definitely one of Odsherred’s culinary highlights.
As a Global Geopark, Odsherred offers fantastic landscapes with an abundance of lovely walking and bicycle routes for children as well as adults.
Try f.inst. the Ice Age Route, represented with 40 exciting kilometres and attractions all through Odsherred, to continue towards Holbæk, where the next leg of the total of 390km starts. Take a trip around the Burial Mound route and experience the landscape of the Ice Age, the dolmens of the Stone Age and the burial mounds of the Bronze Age, the finding place of the Sun Chariot, Hempel Glass Museum, Odsherred Museum or the ruins of Næsholm Castle on an island in Nygård Lake between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. The children will love to see all the fire engines at Odsherred Fire Museum, the climbing park Gekko Park in Højby or a seal safari from Rørvig Harbour. Close to the amusement park Sommerland Sjælland which has been elected the Family Activity of the Year, you find two golf courses. The many art galleries, Dragsholm Castle, the farm shops and the delicious local produce are also characteristic for the region. The market town Nykøbing Sjælland is also worth a visit with its good shopping, several supermarkets, and a cosy pedestrian street with independent shops, good restaurants and cafés.
You can also go to Sjællands Odde to take the Mols Line ferry to Aarhus, the City of Smiles. Do not forget to visit the delicious fish monger in Havnebyen for a small snack before departing.
