This lovely house with a huge covered terrace and located in wonderful surroundings, only 800m from a perfect sandy beach, invites to an enjoyable stay all year around.
Interior
The house contains a small hallway and 2 good bedrooms with double beds (200x140cm). The kitchen with dishwasher is in open connection with the reception room that is spacious and tastefully decorated with a wood burner, TV and heat pump with cooler as well as a dining section with big windows facing the lovely partly natural plot where the deer are crossing regularly.
Furthermore there is a bathroom with shower. The annex offers a double bed 200x180cm and big windows also facing the fantastic partly natural plot. From the reception room you have access to the spacious covered terrace which can be regarded as an extension to the reception room.
Location / the area
If you love nature and walks and bicycle tours, this cosy and stylish house in the beautiful scenic natural area in the middle of the exiting Geopark Odsherred is a good choice.
The house is located in quiet surroundings with cosy forest paths close to one of Denmark’s most beautiful sandy beaches at Tengslemark Lyng. The beach is child-friendly with fine sand and invites to swimming, playing or just to enjoy the sunset on a blanket with a glass of wine. The area is perfect for windsurfing and sea kayaking.
Visit the old market town Nykøbing Sjælland, have a good lunch at the cosy harbour in Rørvig, where the children can fish for crabs, or visit the small fishing village Havnebyen at Sjællands Odde where you can buy fresh fish for your lunch. And do not forget to visit some of the many local artists and the popular farm shops in the area.
In the neighbouring village Højby you find good supermarkets and Højby Church with its beautiful frescoes. If you are into golf, then visit the elegant 18-hole course here.
There are plenty of barter markets in the region, and in the village of Vig you have every opportunity to make the find of the year from Easter till October. The kids will love a visit to Odsherred Zoo, a game of miniature golf and an excursion to the amusement park Sommerland Sjælland that has been elected the best activity in Denmark.
