This holiday house, located in the middle of Geopark Odsherred, offers cosy times, nice furnishing, lovely patio and the possibility for bathing and relaxation in the exciting UNESCO GLOBAL GEOPARK ODSHERRED.
Interior
The house was newly renovated in 2020 and stands bright and inviting, containing a cosy reception room with TV and a heat pump as well as a dining section and a sofa bed that sleeps 2. Plus a bathroom with shower and a nicely decorated bedroom with a double bed a storage space. There is a small kitchen with an oven and hotplates. From the hallway you have access to the charming patio with deck chairs and a gas barbecue, and here you are completely undisturbed from the main house, occupied by the owners of the estate. In the garden, where you also find garden furniture, you are also undisturbed. Here you have the opportunity to enjoy the rich fauna in the area.
Location / the area
The holiday house is located in an extremely attractive area, offering several walking and bicycle tours through the wonderful nature, characteristic of Odsherred. Furthermore you can participate in various water activities such as kayak sailing, seal safari, seaweed safari, SUP and tours on the Isefjord with the fishing cutter Marianne F. The entire area also offers excellent angling.
Sejerø Bay offers some of the finest sandy beaches in Denmark – and very child-friendly. You should also go to Sjællands Odde to visit the Tuna Fish Museum, the Water Experimentarium, Søheltepladsen, and the Artillery School at Gniben with its fabulous views. Or visit Havnebyen where you can buy fresh fish or visit some of the good restaurants as well as Havnebyens Coffee Shop. In Odsherred you find one of Denmark’s early market towns, Nykøbing Sjælland, with excellent shopping, interesting independent shops and really good restaurants as well as the cosy yachting harbour. The area contains many museums, farm shops and sights, representing the unique landscape at its very best. Visit f.inst. Vejrhøj, the third-highest point on Zealand with a unique view of the Nexelø Bay or make a tour to Rørvig Harbour to enjoy a delicious meal in one of the good fish restaurants with a view of the harbour. The children will love to fish crabs from the jetty or explore the playground. Also visit the amusement park Sommerland Sjælland, which has been elected the best family experience of the year.
