Welcome to this lovely holiday home right at the fjord in Amstrup with room for 6 adults.
If you appreciate an extraordinary view, this house is perfect for you who love the outdoors.
The central living room of the house exudes a nostalgic summerhouse atmosphere. The large windows are facing the fjord, so you can also enjoy the view from inside the cottage.
The house is older, but at the entrance there is a nice hallway from which you can access 3 bedrooms. The last bedroom of the house is opposite the living room. The sleeping accommodation is divided into 4 bedrooms with 3 double beds and 2 single beds. A total of 6 adults can sleep here, and although the rooms are not large, they have closet space.
The kitchen is authentic holiday home style of an older date, but with all the facilities you will need during your stay. It includes an oven, coffee machine and fridge-freezer. Following the kitchen is the living room, which invites you to cosy up on the sofa or in front of the TV. It is possible to watch Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and German TV. In addition, there is a Chromecast, where you can stream your own content via the house's free WiFi. The living room is cosy with wooden walls and appears like a time warp with great opportunities to sit together and play a game or read a good book. There is also a dining table where you can enjoy your meals with panoramic views of the fjord in Amstrup.
The bathroom does not appear as new, but is functional and with nice blue walls, toilet, shower and bathtub.
The house has electric radiators and a heat pump.
Outdoors
The house is located on a large natural plot right next to the fjord in Amstrup, which is a great quality of the house. The outdoor area has a lawn, football goal and sandpit. A football pitch with a more beautiful view is hard to find, and there are many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. The house is enclosed by green bushes, so it is possible to be private on the large plot.
From the house there is direct access to the beach only 100 meters from the house. The coast here is perfect for windsurfing and kitesurfing, so it is possible to bring your own sea sports equipment and walk directly from the house and to the water.
The house also has an open terrace and a partly covered terrace with direct access from the living room. On the terrace there is comfortable garden furniture and sun loungers, as well as a gas grill, so it is possible to prepare the day's meals here and enjoy many cozy evenings on the terrace overlooking the fjord.
When arriving by car, there is a carport and good parking facilities.
Location
The summer house is located in Amstrup, an area with both forest, beach and meadows with a rich bird and animal life. Not far from the holiday home is the island of Alrø. There are also good opportunities for cycling and walking in the beautiful countryside. Close to the cottage is the Alrø dam, from where you can get to the island of Alrø, which is the largest of the three islands in the mouth of Horsens Fjord. Alrø is known for its beautiful scenery and good restaurants. During the summer, a small bicycle ferry sails from the island to Snaptun on the opposite side of Horsens Fjord.
Odder is about 15 minutes' drive from the house. A cosy town with good opportunities for shopping and a nice café visit. If you want to visit a larger city, it is only 25 minutes. to Horsens. Here you can visit the prison museum or Horsens Art Museum. Of course, there are also many good shopping opportunities on the city's pedestrian street. The nearest grocery store is Dagli'Brugsen in Gylling, just 5 kilometres from the cottage.
