This lovely summerhouse has both a modern and classic twist. The brick summerhouse has been beautifully renovated, so the setting is perfect for enjoying the unique view of Ajstrup beach, which is only 50 metres from the house.
Interior
A porch serves as the entrance hall, and from here you enter the lovely bright and spacious kitchen. The kitchen is well connected to the dining area and the living room, so everyone can gather here. This is the heart of the house, and from here you can enjoy the fantastic view over Ajstrup Beach and the bay towards Kysing Næs, which is only 50 metres from the holiday home.
In the kitchen you will find all the facilities you need for cooking. Among other things, there is an oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with freezer. No matter where you are in this room, there is plenty of light from the large windows and the patio door that leads out to a covered terrace, perfect for enjoying your meals when the weather permits. At the centrally placed dining table, there is space for everyone to enjoy meals and spend time together.
The living room is directly connected to the kitchen, and the soft armchairs and sofa are perfect for curling up with a good book in front of the wood-burning stove. However, you can also turn on the TV, which has Danish, German and Scandinavian TV channels as well as a Chromecast, where it is possible to stream your own content via your mobile/tablet and the free WiFi.
From the living room there is access to a lovely conservatory, which serves as an extra living room in extension of the kitchen / living room. From the south-west facing conservatory you can also enjoy the view of the coast. The summerhouse has three large bedrooms, which are bright with good windows and storage space. One bedroom has a comfortable double bed, while the other two rooms have two single beds. You can easily sleep 6 people in the house.
The bathroom is also nice and bright with tiles in the shower and on the floor, where there is also underfloor heating. The bathroom also has a washing machine, so you don't have to worry about dirty clothes from the hikes, but just enjoy your stay.
Outdoors
The holiday home is surrounded by a hedge, and at the driveway has its own gate, so you can stay outside on the plot completely undisturbed. There is a lovely lawn with room to play football or play in the swing set in the garden. The house is set back from the road, so it is very peaceful.
In front of the house facing the water is a lovely, covered terrace, where it is ideal to enjoy the view of the water and Ajstrup beach, which is just 50 metres from the holiday home.
There are good parking facilities at the house, and you can easily let children and the dog play in the garden.
Location
The family-friendly Ajstrup beach is only 50 metres from the holiday home. It has a lovely sandy beach and a blue flag, so the sea water is of high quality to swim in. This beach is always worth a visit, but along the beautiful East Jutland coast, you will find several of the country's best beaches such as Mariendal beach and Saksild beach.
With a location in the southern part of Ajstrup Strand, you are close to Norsminde and the harbour environment here. There is, among other things, Fiskehuset and the historic Norsminde Kro, which you can reach on foot along the water. It is therefore perfect to go to Norsminde and enjoy a lunch or invite the guests of the summerhouse for an ice cream.
In addition to the short distance to Norsminde, the holiday home is also only half an hour's drive from Aarhus, which makes this location absolutely perfect if you come from Aarhus or would like the opportunity to quickly get to a larger city. Aarhus has both a large selection of shops and a rich cultural life with events in the Concert Hall, Aarhus Festival Week and, among other things, the art museum Aaros.
In the local area there are also many cosy towns and experiences. Odder is just 12 kilometres from the holiday home, and here you will also find a cosy pedestrian street and experiences in the bowling centre Kuglen and Keglen or Odder Golf Club. Close by is also Mrs Møllers Mølleri, where you can find many exciting local products such as ice cream dairy, butchery and vegetables.
