The area
Helligsø Drag is a holiday home area surrounded by beautiful nature with a long beach with several bathing jetties. The beach has both pebbles areas with sand. Helligsø Drag is a larger, but very calm holiday home area surrounded by the Limfjord and is only few minutes away by car from the coast town Agger by the North Sea. Helligsø Drag is located on Southern Thy just south of Denmark´s new national park Nationalpark Thy. Here you find a unique nature and lots of nature experiences. Within only 10 km there is, among others, the Limfjord centre/Doverodde Købmandsgård with lots of outdoor activities, nature experiences and exhibitions. The golf course Sydthy Golfbane is only 8 km away from the area, and there are several golf courses within a distance of 30 km. The smalltown Hurup with a nice aquapark is only 10 km away from Helligsø. Struer is 30 km south of Helligsø and Thisted is 30 km north of Helligsø. Two larger towns which are definitely worth a visit.
