The area
Assens is an idyllical and historical smalltown with paved alleys and nice old houses in the well-kept town centre. The town also offers many exciting shops, restaurants and a nice harbour. Assens is surrounded by a beautiful nature with woods and fields, and north and south of the town there are several nice beaches. From Assens you can take the ferry to the small island Bågø with a beautiful nature which is located right outside Assens.
