The area
Amtoft is located in a beautiful area with woods and the bird reserve Vejlerne in the vicinity. A perfect area for those who love nature and birds. Here is a good beach and a nice marina as well as a convenience store. Those who love nature kan take a trip to Bulbjerg Klit near Thisted which is known for the brid rocks. The National park Thy is also a great place to visit with guided tours and nature playgrounds. If you want to experience the North Sea, Lild Beach is only 19 kilometers away. Fårup Sommerland with Fun Park and Aqua Park and Jesperhus Blomsterpark are not far away from the area. Also the large city Aalborg with its shops, restaurants and sights is worth a visit.
