Description
Log holiday house on the top of Tyttebærvej with panoramic views of the water and of the area. The holiday home has a large wooden terrace on 3 sides of the house, a living room with views over the Limfjord and the landscape, wood burning stove, door to the terrace area and an open kitchen-living room. There are also a bathroom with shower, two bedrooms with respectively two single beds and two bunk beds.
The area
Hostrup Strand is an idyllic and family-friendly holiday home area in West Salling with a good beach. The area is very peaceful with a stunningly beautiful and unspoiled nature. Only a few minutes´ walk from Hostrup is the charming marina with a maritime atmosphere and a nice café. From Hostrup there are only 5 km to the bird sanctuary Geddal Enge. The natural protected peninsula Kås is located 8 km north. Near Spøttrup there is Vendal High, an approx. 3500 year old burial mound from the Bronze Age. Vendal High is beautifully situated in the countryside, and from the top you have a fantastic view over the fjord, Thyholm and Venø bay. Salling´s nature has a lot of offers. Enjoy a stroll by the lake Flyndersø 18 km southeast of the area. Around the 8 km long lake there is an incredibly varied birdlife which can be experienced during all seasons. This is also applicable in the region around Spøttrup Lake where you may be lucky enough to see otters. Both lakes are signposted trails. Hostrup is also a great base for trips to the fun park Jesperhus Feriepark, the open air museum Hjerl Hede or Spøttrup medieval castle. Close by the holiday area there is shopping facilities in Lem.
