The house was built in 1882, but has undergone a renovation within the last few years, for example with a new thatched roof, new ceilings with exposed beams, new floors, beautiful TV room on the 1st floor and a new kitchen. There is an energy-saving heat pump in the house. Lovely tached house with lovely views over field and forest.
The area
Ålbæk Strand is an attractive and family-friendly holiday home area with one of the best beaches along the Limfjord. The beach is wide and child-friendly. Here you also find a camping site with aquapark, grocery store, cafeteria and much more. Ålbæk Strand is a perfect base for trips to attractions nearby, e.g. the medieval castle Spøttrup with various plays during summer, the open air museum Hjerl Hede and the fun and flower park Jesperhus Feriepark. It is also possible to rent a sea kajak in Gyldendal only a few minutes away from Ålbæk. The area is about 20 km away from Skive with exciting shops, cafés and restaurants as well as a nice aquapark. Close by the holiday area there is shopping facilities in Lem.
