This holiday home is situated directly next to Borre lake few km from Silkeborg. There are views from both the house and the ground of Borre lake. This holiday home is in two levels and built in beautiful modern style. The house is a brick house and is for 4 people divided into two double rooms with double beds. There are functional bathrooms with shower. There is underfloor heating throughout the house. From the kitchen there is access to the garden. The living room has also an exit to the terrace and garden. There are stairs from the living rooms to the first floor. On the first floor are 2 rooms, and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The floors are wooden floors and there are exits from the first floor to the balcony. There are nice for walks throughout this beautiful nature and lake area with cozy eateries and activity opportunities.
The area
The area of Silkeborg is the highest situated landscape of Denmark. Borre lake is part of a network of beautiful lakes and among other things. The paddle steamer Hjejlen sails close to this house. There are a lot of walks throughout this beautiful nature and lakes and with a lot of activities. By Almind Lake is established a beach/bathing in the lake. The landscape is characterized by forests, lakes and plantations. Several of the large lakes are connected by the largest Stream of the area called Gudenåen. The landscape is also shaped by Salten Å. The area features Denmark's two highest points, Yding Skovhøj which is 173 meters and Ejer Bavnehøj which is 171 meters. You will get the most impressive view from Himmelbjerget which is 147 meters.
