Description
With a scenic location, just 300 meters from the water, is "The Forest House" on the outskirts of Hou. The little port city Lohals, with shopping opportunities, is about 1.5 km from the house. The house consists of a ground floor of a small entrance, a living room with fireplace in opening to the kitchen. Additionally there is a bathroom and a utility room. On the first floor there is a bedroom with double bed and a landing with two single beds. There is a possibility of two sleeps in a small loft. Finally, there is an annex with a sofa bed. From the first floor there is partial sea view. The house has a nice and quiet location at the forest edge. There is the opportunity for long walks in the area and to visit Tranekær Castle. There are also good fishing opportunities in the area.
The area
The holiday home area Hou is situated on Langeland´s northernmost tip. The area is not very large and is perfect if you want to spend a calm and peaceful holiday. The beach near Hou is child-friendly and offers good opportunities for fishing. 4 km away from the area you find Lohals with shopping facilities, restaurant and a small harbour.
