The house contains 2 good bedrooms with ample storage space and double beds. The lounge is in open connection with the kitchen and with fantastic incident light, due to the huge windows. The room invites to cosy times around the beautiful dining table and is also equipped with a heat pump and a double sofa bed. The neat bathroom has shower and floor heating. The beautiful wooden terrace is surrounding half the house and offers rich possibilities to enjoy the sun and the view. Please notice, that the house is without television.
Location / area
The house is located in the middle of the beautiful Geopark Odsherred, with great opportunities for walks and bicycle trips in scenic surroundings. From the house, you have almost direct access to the Ice Age Route and the Isefjord Route. The Egebjerg peninsula with its fabulous monsters and Ulkerup Forest with the Ulkerup Souls, as well as the Lommestenen (Pocket Rock), which was thrown into the fjord by an old troll once upon a time, are an absolute must. Only 600m from the house there is a bathing jetty, and 800m away you find Lommestenen with a wonderful beach area, perfect for bonfires and angling. At Hempel Glass Museum the children can decorate their own glass in GlasSpiren, and you can enjoy lunch at Restaurant Anneberg with a fantastic view of the Isefjord. Odsherred Museum with a copy of the Sun Chariot, the amusement park Sommerland Sjælland and the spot Sandskredet with the beautiful forest and bonfire settings are also to be recommended.
In Nykøbing Sjælland you find good shopping with interesting independent shops and many really good restaurants such as f. inst. Café Nokken by the cosy yachting harbour. If you like art, there are many art workshops in the area, open for visits and maybe a lovely piece of applied art for your collection.
At the harbour in Rørvig, you can buy fresh fish, have a coffee, eat at the good fish restaurant and maybe take the cosy ferry to Hundested to see the sand sculptures. Holbæk is only ½ hour drive away, Copenhagen 1 hour
