Description
Two-storeyed holiday home in Virksund which is built into the slope right by the nature reserve and Louns Bredning. You have a nice view across the area and Louns Bredning. There are wooden floors and walls in the living room and in the bedrooms. The house includes a bright living room with large windows and a high ceiling, wood-burning stove, an energy-saving heat pump and access to a viewing balcony. Furthermore, there is a modern open-plan kitchen, a large bathroom with shower and underfloor-heating and 3 nice and bright bedrooms. From the kitchen the stairs lead up to an open attic room which includes an office and 2 mattresses. In the basement there is a large sitting room with table soccer as well as a nice bathroom with shower and tiled floors. From the sitting room in the basement you can access a large, partly covered terrace with a place to clean fish. In front of the house there is a large lawn, which is perfect for ball games or petanque.
The area
In Virksund there is a nice marina with an idyllic and maritime atmosphere. Here you also find nice restaurants and a camping site with aquapark (entrance fee). Close to the area there is Ørslevkloster Sø, a privately owned lake with fantastic fishing opportunities and a beautiful nature. Fishing cards can be bought, and it is possible to rent rowing boats. There are also excellent opportunities for windsurfing and a child-friendly beach. The town Skive is about 20 km away from the area with many shops, cafés and restaurants and an aquapark.
