Hjarbæk is known as a good sailing area where the world championship sailing race for the so-called “Sjægtebåde” is being held every summer. “Sjægtebåde” are the original fishing boats which have been used traditionally in the Limfjord. The area´s inn, Hjarbæk Kro, was established in 1867. Here you can enjoy a nice and traditional Danish meal.
