Description
Skringstrup Training Center is located Skalsådalen and Simested. The place is ideal for course or celebration in pleasant surroundings. There is audiovisual equipment and access to the printer. There is a dining room for 30 people as well as the "theater" room with seatings to 60 people (though a maximum of 35 overnight guests). There is a large industrial kitchen, 18 bedrooms, 6 mattresses that can be moved around in the bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 5 guest toilets and 2 showers. On the 8000 m2 lot there is terrace, large grass lawn, petanque, playground for the children and a fireplace.
The area
There are walks to Skalsådalen from a half to 2 hours. There’s pathes at “kirkestien” to Låstrup and “Himmerlandsstien”. Bicycle tours to Hjarbæk Fjord, Borup Hede and Simested. There is good fishing opportunities at Skals å (2 km.) And Simested Å (1.5 km.). There are plenty of attractions near such as Hvolris Ironage Village, the World Map in Klejtrup, Bicycle Museum, The Rose Park and the Cathedral in Viborg.
