Location
Just a 1.5-kilometers walk along the water separates you from the centre of Ebeltoft. Before you arrive at Ebeltoft's most popular attraction "Det Gamle Rådhus", you will pass no less than six ice cream shops on your way, so even your children will be happy to walk with you. The town of Ebeltoft is an old trading town dating back to 1443, where beautiful shops and good restaurants are just as impressive as old, crooked houses and romantic cobbled streets. Today, Ebeltoft is the Mecca of glassblowing. Generally speaking, the town is home to countless artists and their workshops and studios. Popular and well-known sights are the Frigates Jylland, Det Gåmle Radhus and Farvergården. "Maltfabrikken" regularly organises beautiful concerts and other events. Visit Ebeltofts Glasmuseet, which is one of the leading museums in the field of modern glass art. From the town you can stroll along the promenade into the harbour, where you can buy fresh fish, cheese, wine and Italian delicacies. Various restaurants and cafés vie for your favour in the harbour area. The Mols Bjerge National Park, Ree Park and the popular Djurs Sommerland are all within easy reach by car or bike.
