Description
Interior
You will be pleasantly close to a good, child-friendly beach, an ice cream parlour and a play area. This holiday home underwent an extensive renovation in 2023, during which the owner took great care to preserve its original charm. A mixture of new and old furniture has been used to furnish the holiday home. At the centre of the house is the large, blue kitchen and the great, large dining table, where you can spend a lot of time together with your family or friends. French doors lead out onto the fantastic wooden terrace, where you will find a cosy seating area, plenty of space for a barbecue, a Swedish hot tub and a view over the bay of Kalø Vig. There are three bedrooms in the house, including a family room with a bunk bed and a double bed and direct access to the large bathroom. In the second bedroom there is another double bed. In the third room there are two single beds. The spacious utility area offers enough space to park a pushchair and has access to the guest WC. The winter garden, furnished with antique furniture, functions as a living room.
Outdoor
In fine weather, you will be irresistibly drawn out onto the marvellous terrace. The grassy area invites you to spend active hours. Just 280 metres away is the beach and an ice cream shop.
Location
Følle Strand is a tranquil area that is very popular with holidaymakers. Most of the beach is sandy and attracts surfers every day. Views from the beach include the Bay of Aarhus, the ruins of Kalø Castle and Mols Bjerge. There are extensive green areas with benches in front of the beach. Within about 30 minutes by car, you can reach the Kattegatcentret in Grenaa, Randers Regnskov, Tivoli Friheden in Aarhus, the large Djurs Sommerland amusement park and Mols Bjerge National Park. You can take public buses from Rønde to the beautiful city of Aarhus, where you can enjoy the best shopping, great restaurants and world-class cultural highlights. A more idyllic destination is the old trading town of Ebeltoft, whose cobbled streets are lined with small, crooked houses and pretty hollyhocks. The nearby village of Rønde has supermarkets, pubs and a few small shops.
