The area

Skovmose is a very nice holiday home area situated near Skovby with shopping facilities and a restaurant. The child-friendly sandy beach near Skovmose is among the best beaches on Als. There are many attractions in Southern Jutland. Denmark´s large attraction, the science park Danfoss Universe is situated on Als. The castle in Sønderborg is also worth a visit as well as the idyllic harbour area with many cafés and restaurants.
