In Tranderup you will also find the local grocery store, a genuine "Viking", and there is in Tranderup public transport to Søby, Ærøskøbing and Marstal. There are a few kilometers to the beautiful beach at Borgnæs and a few kilometers to the Baltic Sea with good fishing opportunities.
The area
Ærøskøbing is one of the best-kept small towns in Denmark with paved alleys and half-timbered houses. During the summer you can enjoy a lively atmosphere with concerts and many restaurants. Right beside the idyllic harbor there is a child-friendly beach.
