The area
The old maritime town Marstal is Ærø´s southernmost town with a maritime atmosphere. In Marstal you find the small built-together houses, paved alleys and many shops and restaurants. Close to the town center there is the idyllic harbor with ferry harbor and the Maritime Museum. South of Marstal you can enjoy the beautiful beach “Eriks Hale” with small beach cottages and calm, child friendly water. Fresh fish can be bought at the port.
