Charging of electric car
In the description of the holiday home on the website under Facilities it is stated whether charging of electric cars (also hybrids) is allowed at the rented house or not. If charging of electric cars is allowed, it will be stated under Facilities, which type of charging is provided and therefore allowed.
If the guest acts contrary to the house description by charging his electric car where it is not allowed, the guest is directly liable to Feriepartner and the owner of the house for the damage and loss that the improper charging may cause.

During your holiday, there may be construction noise in the immediate surroundings. Feriepartner have no way of knowing when and where building or renovation is taking place, and therefore cannot be held responsible.

Final Cleaning
a) Final cleaning ordered or inclusive
Allow yourself to relax on the last day of your holiday and leave the cleaning of your summer house to Feriepartner. You can book the final cleaning as you book the house or directly at the local agency, at least three days before departure. The house must be tidy on departure and the dishwasher, fridge and rubbish must be emptied. Please dispose any bottles, cans, or rubbish which cannot be placed in the house's waste bins before leaving the house.
b) Final cleaning done by guest
The holiday house must be clean and tidy before departure. Cleaning includes vacuuming, floor washing and dusting throughout the house. Food must not be left in the house and all rubbish must be emptied. Please dispose any bottles, cans, or rubbish which cannot be placed in the waste bins before leaving the house.

Firewood is not included in the rental price, but you can buy firewood in supermarkets or DIY markets. If there is any firewood at the holiday home, this is the owner’s private property, and may only be used/purchased, if permission has been granted. It is forbidden to gather firewood in the forest or on the beach, which can damage the wood burning stove. If there are high winds or storms, it may be that the wood burning stove/fireplace cannot be used, because the wind pressures the smoke back down the chimney.

Fishing license
You can buy a fishing license for inshore fishing on www.fisketegn.dk

Garbage
Next to the holiday house there is either a rubbish bin or a rubbish bag. But these are not normally emptied every week. Therefore, you cannot necessarily expect an empty bin/bag upon arrival. We recommend that you separate empty bottles, cans, cardboard and paper, according to the local regulations. If the holiday home is left with an overfilled waste container or unsorted waste, Feriepartner reserves the right to charge a fee for the disposal of the waste.

All holiday homes have garden furniture for your use, i.e. table and chairs.  Sun umbrellas, sun loungers and cushions are excluded from this category, and so you cannot expect them to be available in the house.

Guests
We would like to point out that you must never accommodate more people in the holiday home than the number specified in the description of the house. Nor is it allowed to pitch tents, or park caravans or camping vans on the plot of the holiday home.

Health insurance
You are recommended to bring your health insurance details when you go on holiday.

Only if mentioned in the house description there is a cot and a high chair in the house. Cots and high chairs can also be rented by Feriepartner. The cot is a travel cot equipped with a thin bottom. You can order high chair and cot when you book the house or directly at the agency, but no later than three days before your arrival.

Hygiene in a hot tub is very important. Feriepartner make sure that between all rental periods the hot tub is thoroughly cleaned to combat bacteria. If you use the hot tub, you must put one chlorine tablet per person in the water. All houses with hot tubs supply chlorine tablets. Only switch on the hot tub, when the water is 10 cm above the nozzles. If you have used the hot tub - please fill it with cold water before departure or leave the bath water in the spa.

Land
Feriepartner descriptions frequently include the expression “natural land.” This refers to heather moors, tall grass, uneven ground, wild heath etc. This “natural land” has been left to nature, so you cannot count on being able to use the entire area. Nor can you expect the grass to be cut, so that, for example, children can play ball. It is not allowed to park a caravan or pitch a tent on the land. Please also read the point: “Guests”.

Linen
A linen pack contains: bed linen, a small and a large towel and a tea towel. Pre-ordered linen packs will be delivered to the holiday home by our staff and should be left in the reusable bags again in the house on departure. You can order linen when you book the house or directly at the agency, but no later than three days before your arrival.

In certain areas of Denmark military exercises occasionally take place. As far as possible, such activities take place outside holiday periods. You can obtain further information from Feriepartner. Sometimes the exercises are planned at the last minute, so it is impossible to provide accurate information.

Outdoor hot tub
Hygiene in an outdoor hot tub is very important. Feriepartner make sure that between all rental periods the outdoor hot tub is thoroughly cleaned to combat bacteria. If you use the hot tub, you must follow the instructions in the house. All houses with outdoor hot tubs supply chlorine tablets.

Payment
The 1st instalment is a prepayment of 25% of the overall rental price. The balance and the deposit must be paid no later than 60 days before the start of the rental period. If booking less than 60 days before the start of the rental period, the full rent must be paid immediately. Together with the rental agreement all guests receive bank details, including IBAN number and SWIFT code for transferring the stated amount. All guests can pay by credit card on the Feriepartner website.

Pets
Pets are welcome in several of Feriepartner's holiday homes, but please read the house description carefully before booking a holiday home. In holiday homes where pets are allowed, the pet is allowed to move around alone on the property only. The pet does not have to be on a leash on the property of the holiday home. In all other places, including on public roads, the pet must be kept on a leash unless public regulations provide otherwise. If pets are brought, it is not allowed under any circumstances to leave the pet alone in the holiday home, nor may pets ever be in the furniture, beds, etc. of the house. Furthermore, we ask you to take care of cleaning up after the pet inside and around the holiday home, including removing pet hair from the inside and 'leftovers' from the outside, so that there are no unpleasant surprises for the next guests in the house.
If it is found that pets have been brought into a summerhouse in violation of the individual house rules, or if it is found that more than the permitted number of pets have been brought in, the guest is obliged to pay DKK 5,000 to Feriepartner for non-compliance with the house rules and the general terms and conditions of tenancy. The guest is also obliged to pay the amount if it is found that pets have stayed in the furniture, pool room, etc.

Renting a holiday home in the winter months
In the period from 1 October to 31 March, the holiday home is heated to a temperature of approx. 15°C for your arrival. In the pool house, the pool will be between 24 and 28°C.

Smoking
If you smoke in a non-smoking house, you will be charged a fee for any extra cleaning. When smoking outside, ashtrays must be emptied and cigarette butts must be removed before departure.

Swimming guidelines
In some areas on the Danish coastline it can be dangerous to go swimming. So follow these swimming guidelines:
1. Learn to swim and dive correctly
2. Never swim alone
3. Swim only where permitted
4. Only go out to navel-level
5. Dive only where the water is deep enough
6. Swim along the coast
7. Never swim with alcohol or narcotics in your bloodstream
8. Get out of the water, when you start to feel cold
You can get more information about swimming from your local Feriepartner agency.

TV
The number of TV channels may vary from house to house and will appear in the house information. If any problems occur with the TV, there is no guarantee that it can be repaired at the weekend or in the evening. In the event of misuse or changes of settings by the guest, Feriepartner reserve the right to charge the guest for repair/new setting. Please make sure you read the instruction manual or call Feriepartner if you are in doubt about how to operate it.

Utilities expenses
Electricity and oil-heat meters are read on arrival and departure and entered in My Feriepartner. The link will be sent prior to your arrival. In some regions a charge is made for water consumption, whereas in other regions this is included in the rental price. This is shown on your consumption note. Should the meter readings not be noted, Feriepartner will estimate the consumption.

Vermin/insects
Feriepartner draw particular attention to the fact that Danish holiday homes are located in natural areas. Naturally, these natural areas are home to earwigs, ants, flies and spiders. There is nothing we can do about this. In case of extreme insect infestation in the holiday home, please contact Feriepartner. We will do our best to help you.

Washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers
In many holiday homes there are washing machines, tumble dryers and/or dishwashers. If any operating problems occur, there is no guarantee that repairs can be carried out at the weekend or in the evening. In case of misuse by the guest, Feriepartner reserve the right to charge the guest for any repair. Please make sure you read the instruction manual or call Feriepartner if you are in doubt how to operate it.

Weather conditions
Feriepartner cannot be held liable if your arrival at or departure from the holiday home/key pick-up location is made impossible due to snowfall, ice storms or other weather conditions. This also applies to damage, including personal injury, which may result from this.

Young people in groups of 3 or more
Unfortunately Feriepartner have had problems with rentals to young people (including damage to furnishings or lack of final cleaning), it has been necessary to set an age limit of 25 years for more than 2 people. This obviously does not apply to young people on holiday with their parents or to two young people renting a holiday home together. Inspections may be carried out.
