There is direct access to the terrace from the living room, and since it faces west, you can fully enjoy the afternoon and evening sun.

The summer house is located in the peaceful area of Mårup Øster­strand in northern Samsø, just 500 meters from a lovely sandy beach. Here you can take a re­fres­hing swim in the sea whenever you like.

Nearby, you will find Nordby Bakker, famous for its beautiful hiking trails through rolling hills shaped during the Ice Age. From the hills, you can enjoy specta­cu­lar views across the Kattegat Sea.

Close by is also the village of Mårup, where you will find a Dagli’Brugs grocery store open year-round, as well as bicycle rentals, galleries, and cozy cafés. Be sure to visit Nordby as well, with its small shops, half-timbered houses, and cafés by the village pond.

On the southern part of Samsø lies Tra­neb­jerg, the island’s largest town, offering more shops and specialty stores. Southern Samsø also features excellent dining options, and in Ballen there is a lively at­mosp­he­re during the summer months with concerts and re­stau­rants near the harbor. Just north of Ballen, you will find Samsø Golf Club with its beau­ti­ful­ly situated 18-hole course.

Northern Samsø is home to a fa­sci­nat­ing natural landscape shaped during the Ice Age, and you should not miss a walk through Nordby Bakker with its bre­ath­taking views.
