The cottage is a classic, older wooden house, char­m­ing­ly furnished in a cozy summer house style. Comfort and to­get­her­ness are the focus in the open-plan kitchen and dining area, which has space for all guests. In the open kitchen, everyone can stay together, whether someone is cooking while others sit at the dining table or relax on the sofa.

The kitchen is well-equipped with eve­ryt­hing needed to prepare holiday meals. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining area is slightly separated from the rest of the living space. It is bright and inviting, with large windows offering views of the terrace and garden.

In the same open space, the living room is furnished with com­fortab­le furniture, perfect for relaxing and enjoying cozy moments. There is also a TV and free WiFi. A large window near the sofa brings in plenty of natural light and offers views of the green garden. A centrally placed wood-burning stove provides both warmth and at­mosp­he­re during colder months. From the living room, you can access the partially covered terrace, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors when the weather allows.

A small hallway leads to the three bedrooms and the bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed, another a double sofa bed, and the third a bunk bed for two children. The rooms are small but charming, with wooden walls, reading lamps, and storage space. The bathroom includes a shower, and the rest of the house is heated with a heat pump and electric radiators.

The holiday home sits on a large, enclosed plot sur­ro­un­ded by trees and bushes, offering privacy for outdoor acti­vi­ties. There is plenty of space on the lawn for play, and oc­ca­sio­nal­ly a hare passes by. The southwest-facing terrace is partially covered and offers excellent views of the area. It is equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue for enjoying meals outside. There is also ample parking at the house.

Vesterløkken is a quiet holiday home area with gravel roads and dense greenery, creating a close-to-nature feeling. The coast, with its stony beach, is just 300 meters from the house. In summer, a bathing pier makes it easy to take a re­fres­hing dip. The area also offers beautiful sunsets, which can be enjoyed from a bench by the coast.

About 4 ki­lo­me­ters from the house is Tra­neb­jerg, Samsø’s largest town, with grocery and specialty shops. Here you can browse stores, enjoy a coffee, and take care of your shopping. Both Tra­neb­jerg and Ballen, on the east coast, offer a wide selection of re­stau­rants and shops.

The southern part of Samsø is perfect for cycling between small villages with charming village ponds, shops, and cafés. Heading north, you can visit the Kanhave Canal, which served as Samsø’s own “Panama Canal” during the Viking Age. Nearby is the small harbor town of Langør, offering both natural and culinary ex­pe­ri­en­ces.

Finally, a visit to Nordby and the Nordby Bakker hills is highly recom­men­ded. Issehoved, the nort­her­n­most point of Samsø, is ideal for excellent hiking with specta­cu­lar views.
