A lovely holiday home with terraces on several levels and a cosy interior, situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, is perfect for family holidays, relaxation and quality time together.

Welcome inside.

You step into the central living/dining room with a cosy wood-burning stove, which opens onto another cosy living room with a view of the garden. The interior of the house is characterised by a warm atmosphere and plenty of space for a small family with children. Make yourselves comfortable on the sofas, organise a fun games evening without the distraction of the TV, and chat and relax late into the evening.

Enjoy life outdoors.

Have a cup of coffee on the lovely multi-level terrace whilst your children play happily on the swing set with a slide in the large landscaped garden. Have a go at a game of pole tennis and round off the day with a delicious meal from the barbecue.

Get up close to local experiences

Anyone holidaying right here should visit the island of Alholm, just off the coast. The island offers beautiful natural scenery, and you can wade across to it at normal tide levels! The water will come up to your knees or mid-thigh at its deepest. In Jægerspris, you can visit the old castle and treat yourself to an ice cream from Poulsens Isbod, which has been selling ice cream since 1913, or enjoy brunch at Frøken Ankers Café & Butik. The mill in Jægerspris is still in operation, and in the summer you can also buy fresh flour there. Pack a picnic basket and explore Jægerspris Nordskov with its many cycling and walking routes. Head out to the ancient trees, Kongeegen and Snoegen, and the highest point, Frederikshøj. Be sure to stop by Svanholm Manor too. Both Isefjord and Roskilde Fjord are perfect for kayaking. Take the ferry to Sølager and visit Hundested with its glassworks at the harbour and the local brewery. Take a dip in the clear water and enjoy the child-friendly sandy beach at the harbour in Kulhuse. If you fancy a day trip, Denmark’s old capital from the 1200s and 1300s, Roskilde, with the Viking Ship Museum and the Cathedral, is just a 45-minute drive away. Or you can take a trip to Copenhagen (1 hour), where you can experience everything a big city has to offer: Tivoli, Langelinie and restaurants of all kinds.
