Welcome inside

A 90m² holiday home built in 1973, with ongoing renovation work most recently carried out in 2026; cosily furnished in a 1970s style, situated at the top of the undulating plot with direct views of the Isefjord. You enter the holiday home’s hallway, with the bathroom on the right and the kitchen on the left; straight ahead, you enter the cosy living/dining room with panoramic views of the water and the large plot. The living room leads to the three bedrooms. The centrally located wood-burning stove provides cosy warmth. The living room opens onto the terrace, which features a cosy nook and lovely views.

Enjoy life outdoors

On the terrace, you can unwind with a cup of coffee – letting your gaze wander over the water and the lovely grounds with their large trees. There’s plenty of space to sit in various spots and enjoy the peace and quiet, the view – sit with a good book and enjoy a glass of wine before setting the table for a lovely dinner prepared on the barbecue.

There’s plenty of space to play, and with the water just around 230 metres away, it’s the perfect spot for a dip in the child-friendly water.

Enjoy the surroundings

The holiday home village of Kulhuse is situated close to Isefjorden and Roskilde Fjord. Here you can enjoy nature, go for a swim in the fjord and spend time with family and friends.

In the area around Kulhuse, there are several walking and cycling routes, including the Fjordlandsruten, which winds its way through the beautiful countryside; or you can splash about in the waves at Kulhuse’s sandy beach. You can also take the Columbus ferry from Kulhuse to Sølager and explore Arresø, Denmark’s largest lake. There are cycling and walking routes around the lake, or you can head to Hundested, where there’s a wide selection of restaurants and shops.

Get a taste of the local area by stopping off at the many farm shops and specialist shops found in North Zealand. Several restaurants also focus on local and organic produce. You’ll easily find plenty of delicacies to take back to your holiday home.

From Kulhuse, you can quickly reach Jægerspris and Jægerspris Castle. Close to the holiday home is Nordskoven, where you can see Denmark’s three oldest oak trees: Storkeegen, Snoegen and Kongeegen. Only Kongeegen remains, and it is estimated to be between 1,500 and 2,000 years old. This makes it the oldest oak tree in Northern Europe.
