Outside, you have two sunny terraces to choose from, one of which offers a grand panoramic view of the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Welcome inside
With its thatched roof and red brick facade, the townhouse can aptly be described as a modern building with a classic ap­pea­ran­ce. Built in 2005, this true quality con­struction boasts tasteful and com­fortab­le interiors both on the ground floor and the first floor. The well-equipped kitchen and the two bathrooms – one of which features a lovely spa – are clear examples of the house's high standard, and there is un­der­floor heating in most of the ground floor as a less visible but con­ve­ni­ent detail. Three good bedrooms, ac­com­modat­ing a total of six people, are con­ve­ni­ent­ly di­stri­bu­ted across both floors, and there is ad­di­tio­nal­ly space for two extra guests in the loft at the top of the house. The first floor also offers a lovely living room with a flat-screen TV and wood stove, and from here, as well as from the kitchen-dining area on the ground floor, you can enjoy the wonderful views of the Wadden Sea.

Enjoy life outside
The water view can certainly also be enjoyed outdoors. The town­hou­se's east-facing terrace is right next to the salt marsh and the Wadden Sea, making it a wonderful place to sit back and feel the holiday peace descend. If you prefer to admire the natural sur­ro­un­dings from a higher vantage point, you can sit on the first floor's covered balcony, while the terrace area on the west side of the house is a nice spot to enjoy the late afternoon sun.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
If you’ve decided to grill for dinner, you just need to cross the road to find Rømø’s excellent butcher. In the summer, there’s also a small stand where you can buy seasonal ve­ge­tab­les – and if you explore further around the island, there are even more shopping options and dining places to choose from. The central location in Kongsmark provides you with a good base for outings, whether your desti­na­tion is Lakolk Beach on the west coast, Kirkeby Plan­ta­tion, or Havneby, where you can play golf and take the ferry to the neig­h­bor­ing island of Sylt. A trip to the mainland is also recom­men­ded, as holiday guests in the townhouse have free access to the water park at Skærbækcentret.
