Cosy holiday home at Saksild Strand with sea views from the living room and terrace

Interior
It is a pleasure to welcome you to this very cosy holiday home in Saksild. The house has 3 bedrooms, kitchen/dining room, living room, bathroom and a lovely garden room with dining area.

The house is very suitable for both family and friends when you are on holiday or just want a little break from everyday life, where you can relax and be together in a scenic area very close to Saksild Beach.

The sleeping ac­com­moda­tion is divided into a bedroom with a double bed, a room with single beds and a room with a bunk bed.

The kitchen has a nice dining area with room for everyone and open access to the living room. In the living room, you are sure to gather on the sofa group for board games andhaving a lovely time with each other. There are plenty of resting/sitting areas for all of you and, of course, a TV with a TV with Danish, German, Swedish and Norwegian channels + Chro­mecast for streaming your own streaming services.

The bathroom has a toilet and shower.

Outdoor
The holiday home is located on a scenic block just 200 metres from the beach. We are sure you willl enjoy having your feet in the sand just a few minutes' walk from the house. Here on the beach, you will easily spend hours swimming, building sandcast­les and taking long walks all year round.

In the garden, there are plenty of op­portu­ni­ties for free play on the lawn and and enjoy your time relaxing on the fine wooden terraces with plenty of garden furniture, sun loungers, sun un­m­b­rel­las and a charcoal barbecue.

There are 2 paddle boards + 1 sea kayak at the house, which you are welcome to use during your stay. These are used in the condition they are in and at your own risk.

Location
The holiday home is only 200 metres from East Jutland's very best beaches. The sea at Saksild Strand is shallow and very child-friendly.

Within walking distance are Re­stau­rant Bon­de­hu­set, Vaf­fel­hu­set, Trekanten (pizza) and Strands­hop­pen with various groceries and a new mini golf course from 2021.

Only 200 metres from the holiday home you will also find Denmark's oldest mini golf course, where you can challenge each other and eat tasty large ice creams.

The small, cosy harbour town of Norsminde is not far away, where you can enjoy an ice cream or dine at the renowned Norsminde Kro.

If you prefer an active holiday, you can spend it by the water, biking or hiking in the beautiful nature in the area. From Hou there are daily ferry crossings to the islands of Tunø and Samsø.

Odder is only 8 km away and offers a very lovely pe­de­stri­an street with great shopping op­portu­ni­ties, a large selection of shops for groceries and great sights. The bowling centre "Kuglen & Keglen" in Odder also has many outdoor acti­vi­ties for the whole family.

Half an hour by car and you are in Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city, to be enjoyed and ex­pe­ri­en­ced. Here you'll find Den Gamle By, Aros Art Museum, Bruuns Galleri shopping centre and Tivoli Friheden.
