Great but very simple holiday home for nature lovers

Location
50 km south of Växjö, just outside the Tingsryd commune, lies this holiday home on a plot of land directly at the lake Stora Hensjö. Su­per­mar­kets, a post office and cash machines can be found in Tingsryd which is around 5 km away from the house.

Fa­ci­li­ties
This cozy cottage was built in the 17th century and was relocated to the shores of lake Stora Hensjö by its current owner. The main cottage consists of one single room with two beds and a small kit­che­net­te. In the kit­che­net­te you will find a cooker, a fridge with a freezer com­part­ment and a fireplace. There house electric heating, however, there is no running water in the house. You can get water from the owner of the house who lives 300 metres away. Outside there is a shower and a sink both only with cold water as the water comes directly from the lake. In the small guest house you will find another two beds. There is no toilet, only a earth closet / outhouse in a small ad­di­tio­nal building. Guests also have access to a sauna on the property, they can use the garden furniture, a grill and the rowing boat that is included in the price.

Special ar­ran­ge­ments
A great house for nature lovers. If you want to go swimming or go out on the lake with a boat, you do not have to go far as you can do so directly at the house. You can arrive and depart any day of the week. Pets are allowed. Smoking is not permitted. A bed linen package and a towel package can be borrowed for each 15 EUR/person. Guests who do not want to do the final cleaning of the house them­sel­ves, can order this service for 100 EUR.
A boat motor can be rented on site for 800 SEK/week incl. one tank of fuel. An electric motor is also available and costs 1.000 SEK/week.
