Small, cosy holiday home full of charm and character at Thorup Strand

You fall in love with this house at first sight. A small, charming wooden holiday home with cosy little rooms and a centrally placed wood-burning stove that spreads warmth to every corner.

Welcome inside
Despite its modest size, the holiday home feels sur­pri­sing­ly spacious. The wood-burning stove is located in the living room alongside cosy, well-kept wicker furniture, and in one corner you’ll find a dining area with bench and chairs.
The kitchen, which has direct access to a covered terrace, is extremely well designed and fully equipped with dis­hwas­her, fridge, and cooker – so nothing is missing in terms of modern con­ve­ni­en­ces. The bathroom is small but fun­ctio­nal, with shower and washbasin.
The house offers three bedrooms: two with double beds and one furnished with two single beds.

Enjoy life outside
The holiday home is set on a charming natural plot combining ve­ge­ta­tion and dune landscape, creating a sheltered and very cosy outdoor setting. Several terraces surround the house, all con­ve­ni­ent­ly located near the kitchen, making it easy to set the table outdoors.
One terrace is covered and almost functions as a con­ser­va­tory, making it ideal for use in spring and autumn as well. Another terrace features a nice garden furniture set and is plea­sant­ly sheltered by wind­bre­aks.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
At Thorup Strand, there are many ways to ex­pe­ri­en­ce nature up close. At the landing site, fishermen still pull their boats directly out of the sea – an im­pres­si­ve sight. If you’re lucky, you may even be able to buy freshly caught fish to take home for dinner.
Nearby, there are also good op­portu­ni­ties for angling, and not far from Thorup Strand you’ll find a nature play­gro­und that is sure to delight the youngest members of the family. The area is also home to several arts and crafts studios, and just a few ki­lo­metres away lies Fjer­rits­lev with shops and re­stau­rants.

Remember, you can always borrow carts, hig­h­chairs, and baby cots from us at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Jam­mer­bugt. You can pick them up directly at the office and return them when your holiday is over.
