Welcome inside

It’s not the weather or the season that de­ter­mi­nes whether you’ll enjoy a great holiday in this house. Of course, it’s lovely when the sun is shining, but there’s almost reason to hope for a little rain – because then it’s even cosier to gather indoors with a warm cup of tea, a good book and the crackling fire of the wood-burning stove. In fact, the house has not just one but two wood-burning stoves, and both the living rooms and the open-plan kitchen-diner are inviting, at­mosp­he­ric spaces to spend time together.

If you love cooking, you’ll im­me­di­a­te­ly ap­pre­ci­a­te the stylish and well-equipped kitchen – and if you’d rather keep the chef company, you can look forward to sitting on the built-in bench, where the cosy con­ver­sa­tion flows easily. The layout includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and in the annex you’ll find an ad­di­tio­nal sleeping room that is just as bright and welcoming.

Enjoy life outside

Outdoors, you’ll also find plenty of peaceful corners and sunny spots where you can relax at any time of day. There are terraces both open and covered, and with high-quality garden furniture, sun loungers and lounge furniture, comfort is gu­a­ran­te­ed. Thanks to the outdoor shower, even your morning rinse can take place under the open sky, and if you enjoy wellness and warm baths, you can treat yourself to the outdoor spa – perhaps on a quiet evening as darkness falls and the stars appear in the sky.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Landstien is a small, closed road located very close to the coast. A walk to the beach will surely tempt you from time to time – and if you feel like a dip in the North Sea, that’s also possible here at Thorup Strand. On foot, you’re also close to the local landing site, where fishing boats are hauled up onto the beach by winch. Here you’ll find Thorup­strand Fiskehus, where you can buy fresh fish to take home for dinner or stay and enjoy fish ’n’ chips at the wooden tables on the beach.

Close to the house, there is both a forest play­gro­und and a dog forest, and Vester Thorup Klit­plan­ta­ge offers plenty of scenic nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces for active families.

Remember, you can always borrow carts, hig­h­chairs, and baby cots from us at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Jam­mer­bugt. You can pick them up directly at the office and return them when your holiday is over.
