Family home renovated in 2026 – 250 meters from Fjellerup Beach
House-ID: 8887Welcome inside
Imagine arriving at a newly renovated holiday home in 2026, where everything feels bright, fresh, and wonderfully inviting from the very first moment you step inside. This is a little holiday gem, where warm earthy tones instantly bring calm to your body and that soft “we’ve finally arrived” feeling you’ve been looking forward to.
The holiday home opens up beautifully with vaulted ceilings, skylights, and large windows that let the light pour in and naturally connect indoor and outdoor living. It creates a light and airy atmosphere where the days feel a little freer and time a bit more present.
The stylish kitchen is in open connection with the living area, allowing togetherness to flow throughout the day. There’s plenty of space around the large dining table for long meals, cosy conversations, and those quiet moments where you simply enjoy being together. In the living room, a big, inviting sofa awaits—perfect for sinking into as the day winds down with a good film on TV.
The holiday home offers three lovely bedrooms: one with a small double bed (120x200), one with bunk beds for the kids, and one with a double bed (140x200).
The bathroom is bright, neat, and practically designed, and includes a small washing machine that makes holiday life that little bit easier.
Enjoy life outside
Outside, a small world unfolds where holiday days seem to take on a peaceful rhythm of their own.
The space here isn’t just generous—it’s open, welcoming, and full of possibilities.
A large, flat lawn stretches out like a soft green carpet. Here, children can run barefoot from morning to evening, creating their own little worlds of play and disappearing into their imagination around the playset and trampoline, which always tempts with “just one more jump.”
The adults have their favourites too. A game of croquet in the sun quickly turns into a friendly holiday competition—perhaps deciding who fetches breakfast the next morning. Or maybe it’s simply time for a relaxing nap in a sun lounger under the parasol. As the day gently fades, gather around the cosy fire pit, where crackling flames and twist bread or marshmallows make the evening feel just a little more special.
As evening settles in, you’ll naturally gather around the grill. Food is prepared, aromas fill the air, and conversation flows effortlessly. It’s the kind of place where no one feels like leaving the table too early.
Just 250 metres from the house, you’ll find the lovely Fjellerup Beach and large, tempting ice creams.
Get up close to the local attractions
Fjellerup is an old fishing village and today a popular holiday destination on the beautiful north coast of Djursland. Here you’ll find a bakery, a local grocery store, and restaurants. The beach is very child-friendly, with shallow waters and mainly sandy seabed.
The surrounding nature is wonderfully varied, with countless small paths and trails weaving through the landscape—perfect for scenic walks and bike rides. Anglers will find excellent conditions, and windsurfers are almost magically drawn to Fjellerup. And if the fish don’t bite, you can always buy fresh catch locally.
In the harbour area, you’ll also find great restaurants and a very popular ice cream shop. Nearby attractions include the beautiful Meilgård Manor, where you can enjoy culinary delights at the manor restaurant. The ancient stone graves at Tustrup are also well worth a visit.
Children will love Djurs Sommerland, the largest amusement park in the Nordic region, just a 15-minute drive away and known for adding exciting new attractions almost every year. Within half an hour’s drive, you can also visit popular attractions such as Scandinavian Wildlife Park, Ree Park Safari, and the fascinating Kattegat Centre in Grenå.
And of course, there’s so much more to explore across Djursland—just waiting to be discovered.
